About Me

My name is Steve Mitts.

I have been an artist most of my life and a painter for over 30 years,  I specialize in mixed media collage paintings: a balance between woodwork and acrylics.

Using reclaimed Alberta grain silo wood, my work evokes a deep connection to history, with a playful relationship of art and texture.
